Stellar River Meadow is an independent seller of clothing and accessories made from natural fibres. The idea is simple: keep the selection small, and choose each piece because its fabric, construction and finish should still look right after years of wear.

Dressing for a cold season starts with the fibre content, so that is where we start with every piece. A coat is judged by its wool percentage, the way the cloth is finished and how the seams are made, and a linen shirt by its weight. These are the questions we ask about everything we sell
and the ones the articles on this site try to answer.

The palette stays close to stone, slate, deep indigo and the occasional warm rust. We arrange enquiries, fittings and orders by email. Our registered address is in Imabari, Ehime, and our reply says how a visit or a delivery would work for you.
