This policy applies to the Stellar River Meadow website at stellarrivermeadow.com and to the messages, orders and styling requests you send us through it. Stellar River Meadow is an independent seller of natural-fibre clothing and accessories. In this policy, “we” means Stellar River Meadow, at the address given under Contact below.
Browsing these pages hands us nothing we can see about you. We receive personal information only when you write to us, by email or through the contact form: usually your name, your email address, an optional phone number and your message. If you ask about an order or a delivery, we also need a delivery address and a phone number the carrier can use. Please do not send card numbers, passwords or health information; we never need them at the enquiry stage.
The forms on this site are email links, not a database. When you press the button, your own email app opens with a draft addressed to hello@stellarrivermeadow.com, and nothing leaves your device until you press Send there. The site itself does not receive, store or log what you type into the form. The consent box next to the button is a reminder that you are about to email us personal information; the tick is not recorded anywhere.
We use what you send to answer your enquiry; to prepare a quote with the total, delivery and payment details; to arrange a styling session, a fitting or a visit; to complete and deliver an order and deal with any fault or return; and to keep the records that accounting and tax rules require. We do not use your details for advertising, we do not add you to a mailing list without asking, and we do not score or profile you.
The code of this site sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for two small items: a marker that you closed the notice at the bottom of the page, and your light or dark theme choice. Neither holds your name, address or any identifier, and neither is sent to us. You can clear both in your browser settings; the only effect is that the notice appears again and the default theme returns. We run no analytics, no advertising tags and no social-media pixels, and the site loads its fonts and scripts from its own files.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep short technical logs, for example the time of a request, the page asked for and an IP address, for security and fault-finding. We do not use them to identify visitors or combine them with your messages. The RSS feed is a plain file; subscribing to it tells us nothing about you.
We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not share it for marketing. Your details reach someone else only where the job needs it. Your email provider carries our messages. A delivery company receives your name, address and phone number when we ship an order to you. A bank or payment provider sees what it needs to take a payment, if we agree a method that involves one. An authority may receive information where the law requires it. If the delivery or payment arrangement for your order involves a service outside Japan, we will say so in our reply before you confirm.
An enquiry that leads to nothing is deleted within three years after our last exchange. Records of orders, invoices and payments are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require, and no longer. Delivery details are not used for any other purpose once an order and its return period have closed.
Messages sit in an ordinary email account protected by a password, and we keep paper notes to a minimum and ask for no more than a request needs. No internet service can promise perfect security, so please keep sensitive details out of your messages, and tell us at once if you think something you sent reached the wrong place.
Under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information you may ask us to tell you what personal information about you we hold, to correct it, to stop using it or to delete it. To make a request, write to hello@stellarrivermeadow.com or use the address and phone number below. We may ask you to confirm who you are, for example by writing from the address you used before, and we aim to answer without undue delay. We cannot answer a request about information that never reached us, such as a draft you did not send, because we do not have it.
The site is written for adults. If a parent or guardian writes to us about a gift or a purchase, we use the details only to answer them.
We update this page when what we do changes, for example if a form with a server behind it is added or a new payment method is offered. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
